Saber platform

The SABER platform is an electronic system that helps control and monitor markets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by establishing strict procedures for registering products imported into Saudi Arabia and subjecting them to a set of tests and examinations and reviewing the procedures for monitoring the quality and safety of the product during manufacturing processes.

Through the SABER system, importers can register goods imported into the Kingdom, issue a Certificate of Conformity (COC) and a Certificate of Conformity for the shipment, and implement all steps electronically with ease and convenience. The platform was launched by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization in the Saudi market as one of the initiatives of the Saudi Product Safety Program “Saleem”.

SASO COC Certificate of Conformity

SASO COC certificate is issued by conformity assessment bodies accredited by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization for all goods imported into Saudi Arabia to ensure that these products comply with Saudi specifications and technical regulations. Conformity assessment bodies are neutral third-party bodies. It is worth noting that the collection of applications is submitted through the SABER electronic platform.

• Submitting a product registration application by (importer, exporter or customs broker)
